Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the prevention and nursing of the complications of radical pancreaticoduodenectomy via artery approach under the colon area combined with portal vein and splenic vein resection and reconstruction.
MethodsA total of 13 cases of the radical pancreaticoduodenectomy via artery approach under the colon area combined with portal vein and splenic vein resection and reconstruction from March 2015 to June 2016 in Beijing Chao-Yang hospital were included in the study. Postoperative complications of patients were analyzed and effective nursing interventions were summarized.
ResultsThere was no patient with abdominal bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding or portal vein thrombosis, 3 patients with pancreatic fistula and 1 patient suffering from delayed gastric emptying in total 13 cases. All of them were discharged after active treatment and nursing care.
ConclusionsRigorous observation and effective preventive care on the patients of the radical pancreaticoduodenectomy via artery approach under the colon area combined with portal vein and splenic vein reconstruction could prevent, earlier observe and treat patients with complications to save their lives.
