Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the application effects of 5A nursing model in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) .
MethodsBy purposive sampling, 98 CHF patients hospitalized in the Department of Cardiology in Taikang Yanyuan Rehabilitation Hospital of Beijing from January of 2016 to April of 2017 were selected as participants in this study. In accordance with the random number table, the participants were divided into the control group (n=49) and observation group (n=49) . Routine nursing was adopted in the control group while the 5A nursing model was used in the observation group. The two groups were compared in terms of their compliance of treatment and quality of life.
ResultsThree months after discharge, the patients in the observation group were better than the control group in treatment compliance with statistical difference (P<0.05) . Upon discharge and three months after discharge, the patients in the observation group achieved lower score than the control group in quality of life with statistical difference (P<0.05) .
Conclusions5A nursing model can improve the treatment compliance and quality of life of patients with CHF. It is worthy to be widely applied in clinical practice.
