Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of beclometasone combined with ipratropium bromide inhalation by Y-tube of ventilator in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD).
MethodsA total of 60 AECOPD patients treated in Xuzhou First People’s Hospital from March 2016 to July 2018 were selected, and they were randomly divided into the observation group and control group according to the interval selection method, with 30 cases in each group. Patients in the observation group were given atomized beclomethasone combined with ipratropium bromide by Y-tube of ventilator, while atomization was not used for patients in the control group. The therapeutic effects and changes of blood gas analysis indexes were compared between the two groups.
ResultsThe duration of mechanical ventilation in the observation group was (6.95±1.86)d, less than the (7.98±1.65)d in the control group (P<0.05). The airway pressure, plateau pressure and airway resistance in the observation group were (23.69±2.58)cmH2O/(L·s), 1 cmH2O=0.098 kPa, (23.58±2.48)cmH2O, (19.56±1.62)cmH2O, respectively, which were lower than (25.74±2.83)cmH2O/(L·s), (25.84±2.65)cmH2O, (20.86±1.73)cmH2O in the control group (P<0.05). The partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the pH value and partial pressure of oxygen in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). But there was no significant difference in base excess value between the two groups (P>0.05).
ConclusionsBeclometasone combined with ipratropium bromide inhalation by Y-tube of ventilator has favorable clinical effects on AECOPD.
