Abstract
Hair follicle stem cells function in hair follicle regeneration. Recent researches reveal that hair follicle stem cells also function in wound healing of skin. Various experiments of the hair follicle stem cells reveals that hair follicle stem cells may participate in the regeneration of hair follicle regeneration, the formation of blood vessels, skin superficial nerve repair and regeneration, skin appendages reconstruction and epidermis reconstruction process. The results prove that the hair follicle stem cells play an important role in the repair of skin injury and clarify the limitations and future prospects of hair follicle stem cells in skin wound repair.
