ObjectiveTo explore the influencing factors of knee-extension disorder after total knee arthroplasty(TKA).
MethodsA total of 152 valid cases of patients with TKA treated in a certain Top-Three hospital of Shanxi Province during the past 12 years were selected, and the valid medical records were collected and analyzed by the self-designed data form.
ResultsThere were statistical significances in terms of the differernces of knee-extension disorder with different gender(P<0.05) .The occurance rate of knee-extension disorder of patients without sandbags oppression after surgery was higher than that of patients with sandbags oppression, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of knee-extension disorder after TKA were gender and sandbags oppression.
ConclusionsMale patients should pay more attention to the strengthening of knee extension exercise after TKA.Pressurized exercises after surgery helps to promote the extension of joints.
