Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of audiovisual distraction method during superficial venipuncture in infants.
MethodsA total of 160 cases of infants receiving emergency infusion in the hospital from December 2017 to February 2018 were randomly divided into the observation group (audio-visual dispersion method) and the control group (routine procedure puncture method), with 80 cases of each group. The FLACC pain scale was used to compare the pain score, crying time, success rate of one puncture and satisfaction of family members of the two groups.
ResultsThe FLACC pain scale pain score, crying time, success rate of one puncture and satisfaction of family members of the two groups of infants during venipunction were all statistically significant(P<0.05).
ConclusionsAudiovisual dispersion method can effectively reduce the pain of superficial venipuncture, shorten the crying time, improve the success rate of a puncture and family satisfaction, worthy of clinical promotion and application.
