After 5 months intervention, the IDD awareness rate and the change in attitude were compared before and after the intervention.
ResultsAfter the health education, IDD awareness rate and correct answer rate among students were all improved from 60.29% (9 032/14 980), 60.83% (4 556/7 490) to 84.64% (12 653/14 950), 83.05% (6 208/7 475) , with statistically significant differences (χ2= 2 221.33, 915.01, P < 0.01).
