The application effect of meticulous management in the management of pressure ulcers

Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the application effect of meticulous management in the management of pressure ulcers.
Methods452 hospitalized high-risk patients from January to December 2013 were selected as control group, 419 hospitalized high-risk patients from January to December 2014 were selected as experimental group. Compared the incidence of pressure ulcers, the accuracy of pressure ulcers assessment in nursing staff in two groups.
ResultsThe incidence of pressure ulcers in control group was 0.051%, that in experimental group was 0.012%, that in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.01). The accuracy of risk factors assessment in pressure ulcers assessment in nursing staff in control group was 34.9%, the accuracy of pressure ulcers stage assessment was 16.8%, the rate of complete record was 38.5%, those in experimental group were 85.9%, 64.9%, and 88.8%, those in experimental group were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.01).
ConclusionMeticulous management plays an important role in the management of pressure ulcers.
