Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze the effect of cholic acid juice on the X receptor (FXR) in liver regeneration.
Methods60 SD rats were selected to establish rat models with excision of 30%, 50%, and 70% of the livers, 20 rats for each model. According to the different feeding ways, all the three models were divided into group Ⅰ (glucose feeding) and group Ⅱ (bile acid feeding), 10 for each group, with a total of six groups (AⅠ, AⅡ, BⅠ, BⅡ, CⅠ, and CⅡ). The liver regeneration rate and expression levels ofFXR and ALB in each group were detected after feeding 24, 48, and 72 h.
ResultsAfter feeding 24, 48, and 72 h, the liver regeneration rates and levels of FXR and ALB were higher in group Ⅱ than in group Ⅰ (all P<0.05); those in group AⅠwere higher than those in group BⅠ, and those in group BⅠ than those in group CⅠ; and those in group AⅡwere higher than those in group BⅡ, and those in group BⅡ than those in group CⅡ.
ConclusionBile acid can accelerate the synthesis of liver regeneration and albumin increasing FXR expression level.
