The use of the design and evaluation of standardized nursing in perioperative nursing of department of gynaecology

Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the formulation procedure and clinical application effect of standardized perioperative nursing of department of gynaecology.
MethodsA total of 3,492 patients who underwent surgical treatment in our department from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected for the study. Patients were divided into two groups according to the time of admission, including 1,684 patients admitted from January to December 2017 before implementation, and 1,808 patients admitted from January to December 2018 after implementation. Routine perioperative nursing measures were adopted before implementation and standardized perioperative nursing plan was adopted after implementation. Surgical site infection rate, catheter-related infection rate, average length of stay, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.
ResultsAfter the implementation of standardized perioperative nursing services, the incidence of surgical site infection and postoperative catheter related infection rate in our department were significantly lower than those before implementation (P<0.05), the satisfaction of patients was significantly higher than that before implementation (P<0.05), and the average length of stay of patients was shorter than that before implementation.
ConclusionStandardized perioperative care can effectively improve the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, shorten the length of hospital stay, and help patients recover quickly.
