Abstract
The setting up of the scenario simulation teaching system of critical care medicine of the University of Pittsburgh has the characteristics of wide teaching objects, close integration of technology and context, professional teaching staff, rich curriculum and regulations, and high participation of training participants. This simulation teaching system pays great attention to the training object as the leading, stimulating the initiative of the students, paying attention to the crisis situation management and increasing the clinical practicability, which is worthy of reference for the teaching of Chinese critical care medicine. There are some problems in the simulation teaching of critical care medicine in our country, such as non-standard curriculum construction, monotonous content, not wide training participants and low participation of students. We can improve it by giving full play to the leading role of simulation center, strengthening the teaching group, establishing standardized courses, increasing the diversity and authenticity of courses, and arousing the enthusiasm of students.
