Abstract
Academic associations can enrich students' "econd classrooms" and improve their scientific research and collaboration capabilities. At present, there are many researches on academic associations, while few researches focus on medical academic associations. Based on the construction and development experience of the West China Thoracic Association of Students of Sichuan University, this article explores how to better build a talent growth platform for academic associations. The results show that the establishment of a continuous feedback mechanism, talent growth files, and a good cultural atmosphere can play a positive role in the development of medical academic associations. At the same time, the medical academic association can help members improve their scientific research ability and thinking ability, etc., as well as play an important role in the cultivation of medical talents.
