Application progress, opportunities and challenges of robots in geriatric nursing

Abstract
The application of robots in geriatric nursing is increasingly widespread. This article reviews the application status of robots in the field of geriatric nursing in three aspects, including life assistance (mobile assistance, meal assistance, bathing assistance, transportation assistance) , treatment assistance (health monitoring, chronic disease management, oral medication management) , as well as social assistance (emotional support, cognitive support) , and explores the opportunities and challenges of robots in the application of geriatric nursing. This article aims to improve nursing workers' awareness of the application of robots in the field of geriatric nursing, and promote the in-depth exploration and application of robots in geriatric nursing, so as to improve the nursing experience, quality of life and physical and mental health of the aged.
