Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the guiding value of whole-course nutrition management model based on digital therapy for breast cancer chemotherapy patients.
MethodsThe study subjects enrolled from January to December 2022 were randomly divided into two wards by double-blind cluster randomization. 74 patients in ward A were used as control group for routine chemotherapy guidance, and 74 patients in ward B were used as observation group for whole-course nutritional management, including nutritional assessment and intervention, based on routine chemotherapy guidance. Nutritional risk Screening 2002 and Subjective Comprehensive Rating Scale were used to evaluate the two groups of patients before and 3 months after management, and the laboratory examination indicators of the two groups of patients were compared.
ResultsAfter 3 months of follow-up, NRS 2002 and PG-SGA scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Serum total protein, serum albumin and hemoglobin in observation group were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the proportion of mildly deficient energy intake and protein intake in the observation group increased, and the proportion of severely deficient was decreased (P<0.05).
ConclusionThe whole-course nutrition management model of breast cancer chemotherapy patients based on digital therapy can dynamically collect the complete data of patients at home, admission to hospital and discharge in real time, realize personalized, integrated, whole-course management and treatment, and comprehensively improve the nutritional status of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
