Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the application and influence of breathing exercise rehabilitation training in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
MethodsA total of 62 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted to the hospital from August 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into the experimental group (32 cases) and the reference group (30 cases) by computer complete randomization. The reference group received breathing training, and the experimental group received breathing exercises. The lung function, dyspnea and quality of life of the two groups were compared.
ResultsThe pulmonary function indexes and quality of life scores of experimental group were higher than those of reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The dyspnea score of experimental group was lower than that of reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).
ConclusionsBreathing training combined with breathing exercises can improve the pulmonary function index of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, reduce the degree of dyspnea, and improve the quality of life of patients.
