Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze the influencing factors of coagulation dysfunction induced by tigecycline in patients with severe pneumonia (SP) caused by multi-drug resistant bacteria (MDR).
MethodsA total of 48 patients with SP caused by MDR who had coagulation dysfunction after tigecycline treatment in Zhumadian Central Hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were collected and included in the occurrence group; and 48 patients with SP caused by MDR who did not have coagulation dysfunction after tigecycline treatment in the hospital during the same period were included into the non occurrence group. The medical records of patients were consulted, the baseline data of the two groups were counted and compared. The influencing factors of coagulation dysfunction induced by tegecycline in patients with SP caused by MDR were mainly analyzed.
ResultsThere were significant differences in age, daily dose of tigecycline, hemoglobin (HGB) level and blood calcium level between occurrence group and non occurrence group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in other baseline data between the two groups (P>0.05). The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥60 years, daily dose of tigecycline >100 mg, low expression of HGB, and blood calcium level <2.25 mmol/L were risk factors for coagulation dysfunction after tigecycline treatment in patients with SP caused by MDR (OR>1, P<0.05).
ConclusionsThe coagulation dysfunction induced by tigecycline in patients with SP caused by MDR may be affected by advanced age, daily dose of tigecycline, HGB level and blood calcium level.
