Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of rebamipide tablets combined with omeprazole in the treatment of gastric ulcer.
MethodsA total of 96 patients with gastric ulcer treated in the Third People’s Hospital of Shangqiu from May 2018 to May 2020 were selected, they were divided into observation group (48 cases) and control group (48 cases) according to random number table method. All patients received routine treatment, on this basis, the control group was treated with amoxicillin, metronidazole and omeprazole, while the observation group was treated with rebamipide tablets on the basis of the control group. After 6 months of treatment, the curative effect between the two groups was observed, before treatment and 6 weeks after treatment, the serum gastrointestinal hormones and inflammatory indexes including gastrin (GAS), somatostatin (SS), matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-9), interleukin (IL-6) were compared between the two groups, the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was recorded and compared between the two groups.
ResultsAfter 6 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group (95.83%) was higher than 79.17% of the control group (P<0.05). After 6 weeks of treatment, the level of GAS in both groups was decreased, the level of SS was increased, and compared with the control group, the level of GAS in the observation group was lower and the level of SS was higher (P<0.05). After 6 weeks of treatment, the levels of MMP-9 and IL-6 in the two groups were decreased, the level of the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups (P>0.05).
ConclusionsRebamipide tablets combined with omeprazole in the treatment of gastric ulcer can improve the curative effect, protect gastric mucosa, and inhibit inflammatory reaction.
