Therapeutic effect of hemodialysis combined with hemoperfusion on chronic renal failure and its influence on renal function and serum inflammatory factor level

Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effect of hemodialysis (HD) combined with hemoperfusion (HP) on patients with chronic renal failure (CRF), and its influence on renal function and serum inflammatory factors.
MethodsNinety-two patients with CRF admitted to Kaifeng Central Hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected, and they were divided into control group and observation group by two-sphere method, with 46 patients in each group. The control group was treated by HD, and the observation group was treated by HD combined with HP. The treatment effect of the two groups were compared, and the renal function assessed by β2 microglobulin (β2-MG), serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum levels of inflammatory factors including interleukin-1 (IL-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6), hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.
ResultsThe total effective rate of the observation group (95.66%, 44/46) was higher than that of the control group (78.26%, 36/46), P<0.05. Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in renal function and serum levels of inflammatory factors between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of β2-MG, SCr and BUN in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α and hs-CRP were also lower than those in the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05).
ConclusionsHD combined with HP in the treatment of CRF can further improve the curative effect and the renal function of patients, and promote the decline of serum inflammatory factor levels.
