Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the application of serum enzymes indexes and blood biochemical indexes in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis.
MethodsA total of 83 patients with liver cirrhosis who were admitted to Shangqiu Fourth People’s Hospital from October 2019 to October 2022 were selected as the observation group, and 83 healthy subjects who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. Serum enzymes and blood biochemical indexes of the two groups were detected; and the test results were compared. The positive rates of serum enzymes alone, blood biochemical indexes alone and combination of them in diagnosis of cirrhosis patients with different Child-Paugh levels (A, B, C grades) in the observation group were analyzed.
ResultsThe serum enzymes adenosine deaminase, α-L-fucosidase and monoamine oxidase in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The blood biochemical indexes, including alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase, in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the detection positive rate of single index and the positive rate of combined diagnosis among patients with different Child-Paugh levels (P>0.05). For patients with the same Child-Paugh level, the detection positive rate of single index was lower than positive rate of combined diagnosis (P<0.05).
ConclusionsThe detection of serum enzyme indexes and blood biochemical indexes test has certain value in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis, and the combined diagnosis of the two can improve the diagnostic accuracy.
