Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze the assessment results of the students who completed the standardized resident training in Guangdong Province from 2016 to 2018, and to explore the differences in the assessment results and the influencing factors.
MethodsThe final examination results of standardized training in hospital in the past three years were collected and sorted out, including those of 9175 participants in theoretical examination and 8949 participants in clinical comprehensive skills assessment. The difficulty and discrimination of theoretical tests were analyzed. T test, F test and stepwise linear regression were used to analyze the difference of achievement and its influencing factors.
ResultsDuring the period of 2016 to 2018, the difficulty level of the tests was high, and the discrimination degree was not very good. Besides, there were statistically significant differences in theoretical and skill scores among different gender, academic background, year and source (P<0.05), and there was significant difference in theoretical scores among different hospital categories (P<0.05). Hospital category, academic background and source were the main factors that affected the theoretical achievement, and the academic background and source were the main factors affecting the skill achievement.
ConclusionWe should continue to strengthen the construction of training base, standardize the completion assessment, and promote the development of regulation system.
