Abstract
ObjectiveTo observe the early clinical efficacy of Oculentis regional refractive multifocal intraocular lens implantation.
MethodsThe clinical data of 79 eyes of 70 patients from Mar. 2018 to Nov. 2019 in Huaihe Hospital of Henan University were retrospectively analyzed. Thirty-seven eyes of 34 cases received Oculentis regional refractive multifocal intraocular lens as the observation group. At the same time, 42 eyes of 36 cases received Rayner single-focal aspherical intraocular lens as the control group. The follow-up time was 3 months. The early visual acuity, refractive state, defocusing curve, higher order aberration, reading glasses wearing rate and the satisfaction after implantation between the two groups were compared.
ResultsThere was no significant difference in uncorrected distance vision between the two groups (Z=-0.813, P>0.05), but the uncorrected near vision of the observation group was better than that of the control group (Z=-7.454, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in refractive state (spherical equivalent) between the two groups (Z=-0.025, P>0.05). There were two wave peaks in the observation group and the wave decreased slowly compared with the control group. The total higher order aberration, coma aberration, and trefoil were significantly different between the two groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference of contrast sensitivity between the two groups (P>0.05). The rate of reading glasses wearing was 100% (42/42) in the control group and 2.7% (1/37) in the observation group. There was significant difference of the satisfaction after operation between the two groups (Z=-3.309, P<0.05).
ConclusionOculentis regional refractive multifocal intraocular lens implantation can obtain better vision in the early stage and improve the quality of vision.
