Abstract
ObjectiveTo compare the anterior segment parameters between Sirius and Orbscan-Ⅱ in high myopia.
MethodsThis was a cross-sectional study.A total of 131 eyes of 131 cases with high myopia who underwent refractive surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from Jan. 2019 to Apr. 2020 were included. The preoperative parameters of anterior segment such as horizontal corneal diameter (WTW), anterior chamber depth (ACD), thinnest corneal thickness (TCT) and pupil diameter (PD) were measured with Sirius and Orbscan-Ⅱ. The results were compared.
ResultsThe WTW, ACD, TCT and PD measured with Sirius were (11.537±0.320)mm, (3.336±0.208)mm, (512.786±30.559)μm and (3.961±0.524)mm, respectively. The parameters measured with Orbscan-II were(11.549±0.287)mm, (3.113±0.204)mm, (501.120±37.810)μm and (4.408±0.560)mm, respectively. There was no significant difference in WTW between the two instruments (t=1.513, P=0.133), while the measurement of ACD, TCT and PD were statistically significant (t=35.704, 9.498, -10.958; all P<0.001).
ConclusionThe consistency of WTW measured by Sirius and Orbscan-II is good and can be replaced by each other, and other anterior segment parameters can not be replaced by each other.
