Abstract
Malignancy-associated venous thrombosis (VTE) formation is a major cause of death in patients with cancer, including arterial and venous thromboembolism. The risk of malignant tumors complicated with VTE is influenced by many factors, including cancer type, stage, treatment and other complications.Malignant tumor complicated with VTE have a higher risk of death because of atypical symptoms or the late malignant tumor in more misdiagnosis. There is a variety of primary and recurrent VTE risk model to evaluate the incidence of VTE early, but still other predictors need for the effect of model distinguishing VTE high-risk patients. This review focused at the epidemiology, risk factors, internal mechanisms of biomarkers, prevention and treatment of VTE associated with malignant tumors in the understanding of VTE.
