Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation intervention on cardiac function, pulmonary function and 6min walking distance in stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients.
MethodsThe clinical data of 102 patients with stable COPD treated in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2018 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random digital table method, each with 51 cases. The control group was given conventional medication, based on this, the observation group received the comprehensive rehabilitation intervention. Then the indexes of cardiac function and pulmonary function, Pulmonary arterial pressure, 6min walking distance, mMRC and CAT score were compared.
ResultsThe levels of FEV1, FEV1/FVC and PEF in the two groups were increased after treatment (P<0.05), and were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). The 6min walking distance in the two groups was increased after treatment (P<0.05), and was higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). The LVESV, LVEDV and PAP values in the two groups were decreased after treatment (P<0.05), and were lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). The LVEF value in the two groups was increased after treatment (P<0.05), and was higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of mMRC and CAT in the two groups were decreased after treatment (P<0.05), and were lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05).
ConclusionsThe application of comprehensive rehabilitation intervention can effectively ameliorate the cardiac function, pulmonary function, 6min walking distance and quality of life for patients with stable COPD.
