Abstract
Sinonasal carcinomas are aggressive tumours that lack specific symptoms. They are difficult to be diagnosed early. Tumours are therefore usually detected at an advanced stage, which makes the treatment challenging. The quality of life for patients with sinonasal carcinomas are generally poor after treatment and their prognosis remain unsatisfactory. In recent years, progress has been made in the diagnosis and therapy of sinonasal carcinomas. In this article, we review the advances in diagnosis and treatment of some major types of nasal and paranasal sinus malignant neoplasms.
