Research status of hospice care in elderly dying patients in the context of aging

Abstract
With the aggravation of population aging, in the context of the " healthy China" strategy, how to provide comprehensive and full-cycle health services for the country's elderly population has become an important issue in the whole society.Hospice care is mainly aimed at the elderly patients who cannot be cured at the terminal stage of the disease.It provides palliative care, relieve of pain and relieve of symptoms in order to improve the quality of life of the elderly, so that they can live their last days with dignity, peace and warmth.Hospice care for the elderly is not only related to the aging of our country's population, but also an important problem to be solved in the construction of a healthy China.In this paper, the necessity, existing problems and implementation strategies of hospice care in elderly patients with terminal illness were summarized, in order to provide reference for the development of hospice care in elderly patients with terminal illness.
