Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze hot spots and frontiers of literatures on lifestyle nursing for patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) at home and abroad systematically, in order to provide references for the in-depth study of this field by Chinese nurses.
MethodsLiteratures on lifestyle nursing of PCOS patients at home and abroad from 1999 to 2019 were retrieved through CnKI, Wanfang database, Weipu database, Web of Science, Pubmed and Scopus. CiteSpace visualization software was used for visual analysis.
ResultsA total of 113 Chinese articles and 507 English articles were included. The published volume of the literature was increasing year by year. The countries with high circulation were mostly developed countries and the cooperation among domestic institutions was less. Foreign research frontiers has been extended to PCOS complications, compliance, and influencing factors, focusing on randomized controlled trials, meta-analysis, and clinical practice guidelines and other key areas. Domestic research mainly focuse on obese PCOS patients, focusing on health education, psychological care, diet guidance, exercise guidance, quality of life, treatment compliance and other fields.
ConclusionsLifestyle care of PCOS patients is gaining attention from scholars at home, but there is still a gap compared with the international level. The research and development among regional institutions in China is unbalanced, and the degree of scientific research cooperation needs to be strengthened. In the future, Chinese scholars should refer to the hot spots and frontiers of international PCOS patients' lifestyle nursing research, broaden the scope of lifestyle care research, and realize the whole life cycle management of PCOS patients in China. With the help of mobile medical platform, the multidisciplinary team can participate in the supervision and management of PCOS patients' lifestyle improvement. At the same time, Chinese scholars should explore the influencing factors of lifestyle improvement compliance of PCOS patients comprehensively and construct the evidence-based nursing scheme for lifestyle management of PCOS patients in China, based on the specific cultural background.
