Research progress on perioperative anxiety in cancer patients undergoing surgery

Abstract
Cancer is still a medical problem difficult to overcome worldwide, and surgery is currently the main treatment strategy for most cancers. During surgery, cancer patients always accompanies by a variety of comorbidity emotions, and one of the most obvious adverse emotions is anxiety. Recent studies have shown that perioperative anxiety in cancer patients often affects patient prognosis. This paper summarizes the epidemiology of perioperative anxiety, the mechanism of action, the impact of anxiety on the prognosis of cancer surgery patients and preventive and curative measures, focus on the problem of comorbidity emotions as an entry point, in order to provide new breakthroughs for promoting the postoperative rehabilitation of cancer surgery patients.
