Discussion on the effect of doctor-nurse-patient integrated nursing mode in obstet-rical department to promote high-quality care

Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of doctor-nurse-patient integrated nuring mode in promoting high quality care in obstetrical department.
MethodsA total of 132 cases of primipara from June to July 2014 were taken as the control group, and were given the traditional fragmented obstetric health care model. A total of 136 cases of primipara from March to April 2015 were taken as the study group, and adopted doctor-nurse-patient integrated nursing mode.The primipara's satisfaction for nursing, doctors' satisfaction for nursing, nurses' self-satisfaction before and after the implementation were compared.Meanwhile, the primiparae's body weight control, natural childbirth, cesarean social factors and breastfeeding of the primipara before and after the implementation were compared as well.
ResultsAfter the implementation of doctor-nurse-patient integrated nursing mode, primipara's, doctors' and nurses' satisfaction were all significantly improved(P<0.01). After the implementation of doctor-nurse-patient integrated nursing mode, the abnormal pregnancy body mass and social factors cesarean section incidence were effectively reduced.It had obviously improved the rate of natural birth and the rate of breastfeeding (P<0.01).
ConclusionsThe implementation of doctor-nurse-patient integrated nursing mode can improve the status quo of nursing and improve the doctors', nurses' and patients' satisfaction.
