Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze the effect of hospital-family continuity of care on the level of hope and self-management of patients with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).
MethodsA total of 121 patients who received PCI in this hospital from January 2018 to September 2019 were investigated.A total of 42 patients with effective survey results were selected as study objects. They were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the conventional group received conventional nursing measures, and patients in the study group received continuous nursing measures.Differences in Seattle angina scale score, level of self-management, and incidence of adverse events were observed between the two groups.
ResultsThe study group's degree of physical limitation, frequency of angina pectoris, angina pectoris stability, treatment satisfaction, disease cognition and overall evaluation scores were significantly different from the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The comparison of quality of life, hope level, health service utilization and medication compliance between the two groups showed that the situation of the study group was better than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Compared with the incidence of cardiac adverse reactions in the two groups, the incidence of cardiac adverse reactions in the study group was lower(P<0.05).
ConclusionsAfter PCI, if nursing staff can provide patients with continuous nursing measures in hospital and family, it can improve patients' self-management ability, reduce the occurrence level of adverse symptoms, and can be widely used in actual diagnosis and treatment.
