Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of spleen polypeptide lyophilized powder in the treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection and the effects of drugs on the immune function of children.
MethodsFrom January 2012 to December 2016, 116 childrens with recurrent respiratory tract infection were collected in Xi'an Central Hospital. All Subjects were divided into control group and research group randomly, 58 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with conventional anti infection treatment and patients in the research group were treated with spleen polypeptide lyophilized powder on the basis of conventional therapy. The clinical effect and the changes of immunoglobulin were compared between the two groups.
ResultsThe research group had a clinical total effective rate( 94.83%), which was significantly higher than control group ( 77.59%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The expression level of immunoglobulin(Ig)A, IgG, IgM and C3 were significantly increased in both groups after treatment, the research group was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment the levels of CD3+ , CD4+ and CD4+ /CD8+ increased and CD8+ decreased significantly in research group, which was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).
ConclusionPolypeptide lyophilized powder of the spleen combined with conventional therapy is an effective and safe agent for treatment of respiratory tract infection, which can improve the clinical effect and the immune function of children. The method is worth of further application in clinical treatment.
