Abstract
With the increasing incidence of tumours year by year, acupuncture has played an important and active role in treating many tumours and tumour complications with the characteristics of good patient compliance, less pain, immediate effect and low cost. In clinical research and basic research, it has been proved that acupuncture can improve body immunity, restore immune states and improve clinical symptoms. The author reviews recent studies on the effects of acupuncture combined with chemotherapeutic drugs on immune cells and related cytokines in treating tumours. It provides a new research goal and direction for the future application of acupuncture in treating malignant tumours and improving the targeting of chemotherapeutic drugs.
