Abstract
With the development of various vaccines for Neisseria meningitides(Nm), the epidemic of meningococcal meningitis is changing. In recent years, the composition of B group Nm increases, and the proportion of B group Nm carriers in healthy people increases. Patients due to close contact with group B Nm carriers have also occurred in some areas of China. Therefore, it is very important to understand the epidemic of group B Nm, clarify the drug resistance of dominant epidemic group B and update the preventive drug regimen, so as to effectively reduce the morbidity and mortality of meningitis. In this paper, epidemic status and drug resistance of group B Nm are summarized to provide basis for Nm control and prevention.
