Abstract
The mortality rate of subclinical depression is increasing and patients with subclinical depression have a lower quality of life and a higher risk of developing major depressive disorder than the general population. At present, it is believed that psychotherapy is better than pharmacotherapy for clinical intervention of subclinical depression. However, there is currently no review of studies on evidence-based psychotherapies for clinical practice reference. As the main means to the treatment of subclinical depression, psychotherapy covers a variety of strategies and has proved to be highly effective. At present, psychological intervention strategies considered having confirmed effects on subclinical depression include: cognitive behavioral therapy, problem solving therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, attention bias modification training, psychotherapy-based guided self-help intervention and bibliotherapy, web-based comprehensive psychotherapy and staged psychotherapy based on traditional psychotherapy. Future research should focus on the different deficiencies of the psychological interventions and carry out targeted innovation and development of psychological intervention programs for subclinical depression. It is particularly worth noting that the research on the construction of a variety of psychological intervention methods fusion psychological intervention strategies represented by the network-based structured comprehensive psychological intervention self-help platform needs to be further developed.
