Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the clinical significance of warming atomization device in winter in improving the aerosol inhalation compliance of respiratory patients.
MethodsFrom November, 2017 to February, 2018, a total of 98 patients taking nebulization treatment at our hospital were selected as study objects, and were divided into an experimental group and a control group by the random number table method, 49 cases for each group. The control group took conventional atomization treatment; in addition, the observation group warmed the atomization device in winter. The comfort and compliance were compared between the two groups.
ResultsOn day 3 and 7, the comfort scores were significantly better experimental group than in the control group [(5.77±2.40) vs. (7.52±2.51) and (9.63±2.78) vs. (8.11±2.88), both P<0.05]. of the were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) . 45 cases fully complied, 3 partially, and 1 did not in the experimental group, and 38, 7, 4 in the control group, with a statistical difference (Z=1.976, P<0.05).
ConclusionUsing device warming technology in winter atomization therapy can significantly improve patients’ comfort and compliance, and it is recommended to be clinically generalized.
