Abstract
ObjectiveTo carry out dynamic detection on serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels of hepatitis B virus (HBV) related liver diseases in different stages, which was helpful to timely and accurate diagnosis and identification of patients with liver diseases, effective early intervention on liver diseases, to prevent liver diseases developing to liver cirrhosis and even liver cancer.
MethodsA total of 65 patients with acute hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis B, liver cirrhosis, or liver cancer were selected as observation group from February 2019 to February 2020; 65 healthy subjects with normal physical indexes were selected as normal control group. Serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level was tested in both groups.
ResultsSerum concentration of hs-CRP in the observation group [(16.17±4.73) mg/L] was significantly higher than that in the control group [(2.15±0.59) mg/L] (t=23.713, P<0.05). Serum concentration of hs-CRP in patients with liver cancer was significantly higher than those in patients with liver cirrhosis, acute hepatitis B, and chronic hepatitis B (allP<0.001), and serum concentration of hs-CRP in patients with liver cirrhosis was significantly higher than those in patients with acute hepatitis B and chronic hepatitis B (bothP<0.001).
ConclusionsHepatitis B virus (HBV) -related liver disease patients have abnormal hs-CRP expression. Different liver disease patients have different expressions of hs-CRP, which can ideally reflect the benign or malignant tumor of liver diseases and the degree of disease, with important values of timely and accurate diagnosis and identification of liver disease patients, clinical efficacy observation and prognosis judgment.
