Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the family factors of rehabilitation compliance of children with cerebral palsy and to analyze the effect of family rehabilitation nursing.
MethodsEighty-two children with cerebral palsy admitted to North Guangdong People's Hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected, and their rehabilitation information and family data were collected. The 12 children who cooperated with the rehabilitation treatment and family training and who were (5.25±1.04) years old were set as an experimental group, including 6 males and 6 females; and the 70 who did not cooperate and who were (4.02±1.13) years old were set as a control group, including 28 males and 42 females. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to investigate the related factors and independent risk factors influencing the children's rehabilitation compliance.
ResultsAmong the 82 children, 12 had poor compliance, and the incidence was 14.63%. The multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that family income less than 3 000 yuan (OR=2.085, P=0.025), family members' mastery of disease knowledge, and family members' understanding of rehabilitation plan were the family factors influencing their compliance.
ConclusionsFamily monthly income less than 3 000 yuan, family members' mastery of disease knowledge, and family members' understanding of rehabilitation plan are the important family factors reducing the compliance of children with cerebral palsy during rehabilitation. We should pay more attention to the above factors in clinic, strengthen the family members' education about disease rehabilitation knowledge, and implement effective family rehabilitation nursing, so as to improve the children's rehabilitation compliance and quality of life 。
