Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the application of nursing mode with internet+ as medium in the continuous health service of stroke patients.
MethodsOne hundred stroke patients treated at People's Hospital of Longhua District from June, 2018 to June, 2020 were divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. There were 31 males and 29 females in the control group, who were (56.51±3.23) years old. There were 34 males and 26 females in the observation group, who were (55.47±3.19) years old. The control group receive routine care, and the observation group receive continuous care based on internet+ after being discharged from the hospital on the basis of the control group. The self-care ability, compliance, mastery of health knowledge, and readmission rates before and after the nursing care were compared between these two groups.
ResultsThe self-care ability scores before and after the nursing care were (68.96±8.19) and (120.13±44.21) in the observation group, and were (70.03±9.28) and (102.12±10.67) in the control, with statistical differences between before and after the nursing care in both groups (both P<0.05), and between the control group and the observation group after the nursing care (t=-3.067, P<0.05). The compliance rate, mastery rate of health knowledge, and readmission rate were 93.33% (56/60), 96.67% (58/60), and 5.00% (3/60) in the observation group, and were 65.00% (39/60), 80.00% (48/60), and 23.33% (14/60) in the control group (χ2= 14.602, 8.086, and 8.292; all P<0.05).
ConclusionContinuous health service through internet for stroke patients can enhance their compliance behavior, improve their self-care ability, reduce the incidence of readmission, and improve their awareness of health knowledge.
