Abstract
ObjectiveTo systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of Sijunzi decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia.
MethodsDatabases, including CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed, and The Cochrane Library were searched to collect the random control trials related to modified Sijunzi decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia from the establishment of each database to January 10, 2021. Two researchers screened the literatures and extracted the data. The observation indicators included overall effective rate, symptom score, and gastric half-emptying time. The risk of bias of the included literatures was assessed. The data were quantitatively analyzed by the Revman 5.4 statistical software.
ResultsA total of 11 articles with 858 patients were included. The meta results showed that compared with the conventional western medicine group, the Sijunzi decoction group had advantages in overall effective rate [the treatment group/the control group=445/413, RR=1.25, 95%CI (1.17, 1.32), P<0.000 01] and symptom score [the treatment group/the control group=106/106, MD=-3.47, 95%CI (-3.77, -3.17), P<0.000 01], and had the same curative effect in gastric half-emptying time [the treatment group/the control group=63/50, MD=-0.16, 95%CI (-2.21, 1.88), P<0.88].
ConclusionCompared with the simple western medicine group, Sijunzi decoction has definite curative effect in treating functional dyspepsia and certain advantages, but more high-quality studies are needed to prove it.
