Objective To explore the systematic programme for skin nursing of patients with operation, so as to prevent the skin injure during the operations. Methods According to the theory of risk management and process reengineering, we carried out the " Operation Patient Skin Nursing Program". The program includes routine nursing of operation patient skin, special care record sheets for operation patient skin risk warning, report procedure of operation patient skin risk warning, and the standard nursing method and procedure during operation. Results Surgical care team have reached a high level of skin care. It is effective to prevent patients from skin injuring during the operation when the staff was new and the operation was more complicated, the average operation time was longer. Conclusions The systematic programme for skin nursing is helpful to promote the team to reach the high standard nursing of skin problems.
